A: You can access your control panel in two ways:

A: Internet Data Exchange (IDX) is a program that allows brokers and agents to show each others' listings on the Internet. This allows the public to search for properties throughout the entire MLS directly from your website.
Q: How often is the IDX data updated?
A: Most of the MLS data provided by ActiveAgent™ is updated 3 times a day. However, frequency of updates is dependent on how often the MLS updates their data to their vendors.
Q: How do I change my domain name?
A: If you have an ActiveAgent™ website and decide to change your domain name, simply contact your account manager and they can take care of it for you. There is a one time $25 charge to change your domain name.
Q: Can I create my own custom page?
A: Yes, you can. Click on the "Website Manager" tab and then the "Page Manager" button in your Control Panel.
- To add your own page, click the "Add a Page" button under the desired menu.
- From the popup window, choose "Custom Page" from the drop down menu. Once you make your selection, you'll be directed back to the Page Manager page and your newly added page will appear. It will default to being called "New Page".
- Click Edit to edit the properties of the page you just created.
- Once you are done, be sure to enable the page so that it will show up on your website.

A: With ActiveAgent™, your listings have a unique and easy URL. You can send them directly by giving them your web address followed by the MLS number of the listing

A: Click on the "Leads Manager" tab in your Control Panel. The Contact Manager will show you who has filled out a contact form on your site. PropertyWizard will show you all the people who have signed up for a PropertyWizard account. You can click on Export Contacts button to export the contact lists from both of these areas if you wish.
Q: Can I use HTML on my ActiveAgent™ site?
A: Yes, you can. Most content sections in the control panel contain a WYSIWYG HTML Editor where you can enter content and use the functions of the editor to change size, color, bullet points, etc. You can also enter your own HTML code there if you prefer.
Q: How do I change the look of my website?
A: Access the "Website Manager" tab from your Control Panel and click on "Style Manager". You can view layouts based on a theme or you can click on "Browse all Styles" to view all the layouts. You can select your layout, color, and choose a splash page if you choose.
Once you have decided on a layout click "Save Information." Your new look will now be in effect.
Q: How do I create an Auto Responder?
A: Access the "Marketing Tools" tab from your Control Panel. Once there, click on "Auto Responders". This will take you to a page where you can modify your Auto Responder.
A default Auto Responder is automatically set for you. If you wish to change that message or create a new one simply enter the text in the box provided. Changing any of the text within the box will change the message that will be emailed to your clients when they request information.
To go back to using the default Auto Responder, simply remove your custom message and click "Save Changes".
Q: What is AdTracker?
A: Simply put, it is a powerful electronic tracking system for any of your listings. This unique tool allows you to track your advertising by appending any code you wish at the end of your ActiveListing URL.
For example, if you are advertising a listing in the newspaper, your ad should include your listing URL as www.joeagent.com/1234np (1234 represents your listing and "np" can be your code for newspaper). The stats in your control panel will show how many times the code "np" was used.
The AdTracker code you create for your different advertising sources is recorded whenever a prospect accesses your pages as a result of acting upon your advertisement. You can have unlimited codes. Obviously, knowing where people are finding your listings lets you more effectively allocate your advertising dollars.
